All-weather winning secrets
This is an extract from Jockey Club official magazine printed in 2002 written by the past old jockey, Mr. David Chow. Thought it is an old article, it still hold true in some senses when you select horses in all-weather races:
1. To give up those favourites under 5-1 which are carrying weights of 128 lbs or more.
2. To give up those with an outside draw and ridden by less well-known jockeys
3. To give up horses from small stables
4. To give up those runners without early speed and drawn on the ouside
