Just watched the 1st half of Croatia vs England. This 3-5-2 formation is even worse than the 4-4-2 with Beckham in it!

Croatia should be winning in the 1st half if Robinson did not make two great saves!

I really don't know why England appoints McClaren as Manager! :em70:

McClaren should go back to Middlesburg....he quits Beckham and that's the main point...

Just wanna voice out my opinions on this issue. I am a england die-hard fans and have supported them since 1986. Frankly, I respect McClaren and believe what he has done is good for England. England really needs width and pace i.e.traditional English football. And you cannot find such play style during Eriksson's period. Anyway,if you go to the soccernet website. You will know that England was playing without Gerrard, Downing and Lennon last night. I admire Beckham has contributed a lot to England but it is really the time to change. Hope that the injured players can get well soon and do better in the following matches.

我覺得Beackham 後備都無又真係有d問題..
但係我覺得試下new form都係好事..
一兩場打得唔好唔represent d乜..
比d時間england ~

可以話係試陣，又可以話係俾Ｄ機會Ｄ新仔.但值得放棄逼函而俾亞堂令踢咩？堂令咁值得栽培咩？

Just give him some time ! But for my personal opinion, Wacott should be in England team but not U21....

I am also a england die-hard fans and think Erickson is too defendsive , i agree to change however the Mcclaren really on 9

1. No crossing from winger (a cole + gary not winger) Crouch = useless (except help defend when corner)
2. If use so many defend player to get 1 pt = Erickson no change at all ( still ok as play safe)
3. using so many defendsive player in midfield (a cole + parker + carrick + gary) should play more press on midfieild rather than
make the defend line so depth. (see cheseala is good example)
4. use 3-5-2 , however crotia is good heading and crossing so the formation is on work , it can see at 1st half , 2nd half should change
too 442 .
5 After lose 1-0 should change ppl immediately la , as b4 lose first goal england is not upper hand, then keep play defensive so the ball always play at own half , it is the main reason of losing 2nd goal (i dont think it is fault of Paul Robinson,in fact even midfield , forward
also will give wrong pass or miss kick for such accidient).
6. total 10 mins b4 lose second goal still no action.
7. rubbish rotation , should keep croch la as have replace winger ar ma , may be he think crouch good not on that match la (because
no ball pass/cross to him). no winger use crouch , have winger not use crouch haha.
8. the incidient make the confident crisis of Paul Robinson , should support robinson after match loundly instead of saying we are not
player well la. Because next match even not use robinson , will use james also so so , so should protect your player.
9. not use beckham is not problem if you playing attacking style , fast winger , midfield zone press , like 90s England team.
10. as a whole this match weak defend at two side, midfield no player hold ball so lose ball easily , if play this kind of strategy should
use backham la.
