「精英大師」馬主施雅治夫婦，有意跑完今次賽事後便安排愛駒退役。無論成績如何，他們都想此匹已征戰多年的良駒早些頤養天年。當然，告仔就唔捨得，所以安排此馬加眼罩，希望有突破演出及游說到馬主讓牠繼續服役。不希望見到此匹一代馬王老年遲暮時先引退，所以今次賽事大家一定要替牠打氣。

精英大師 already done his best..... dont think its still a G1 horse ... already 7 yrs old....

especially he is a short distance horse.... its too old le.

有些像Stephen Hendry. 依然是top class. 但別人勇他便易輸了…難W。

I believe that the horse can still compete, but at a lower level.

It takes long time for his points to drop to the suitable level. But at that time, he'll be even older.

Maybe as the horse is 'yim' before (if I remember it right)...

Actually, I think the last drop is already squeezed before.
