Do you think it is on 9 if you bet on 半全場和和?
look at the following example.
what can you tell?

半場和 2.05
全場和 3.3

2.05+3.3=5.35... much better than 4.8

Case Study : [Amended on 22/6/2009]
半場和 $100 @ 2.05 + 全場和 $100 @ 3.3
Result
半場和 + 全場和 => $535 [Odds: 535/200 = 2.675 < 4.8]
半場主/客 + 全場和 => $330 [Odds: 330/200 = 1.650 < 4.8]
半場和 + 全場主/客 => $205 [Odds: 205/200 = 1.025 < 4.8]
半場主/客 + 全場主/客 => $0 [Total loss]

半全場和-和 $100 @ 4.8
Result
半場和 + 全場和 => $480 [Odds: 4.8]
半場主/客 + 全場和 => $0 [Total Loss]
半場和 + 全場主/客 => $0 [Total Loss]
半場主/客 + 全場主/客 => $0 [Total loss]

I dun agree.
if you bet 和和, you must have first half draw and full time draw.
if betting 200, you can get 960

if betting 半場和全場和 provided it is all bingo, it should be like gor kwan 2.05 x 3.3 = 6.77
the odds should be 6.77 but not 4.8.
but hkjc has no such combination, and it is absolutely pay a lower odds

looking at the other view, if betting 半場和 but turns out full time not draw (or vice versa), you can buy an insurance.
it looks better in the long run.

For the highlighted part, betting more doesn't mean high odds. The odds is still equal to 4.8.
Since it's not 个關, the odds will never be 2.05 x 3.3 = 6.765. That's the reason why I show all the possibilities for different cases.

i know it is not a combination.
but on theory basis, it should be more than 4.8.
HKJC is giving a comparatively lower odds in this pool

I've amended the case study in order to give you a more clearer picture on why the odds is lower.

半場和 $100 @ 2.05 + 全場和 $100 @ 3.3
Result
半場和 + 全場和 => $535 [Odds: 535/200 = 2.675 < 4.8]

For "半場和 $100 @ 2.05 + 全場和 $100 @ 3.30", there are two more chances that you may not total loss and get back the money you bet on. Ofcoz' the winning odds for these 3 possibilities should be lower than "半全場和-和". Otherwise, the odds may become unreasonable.
