3x4 is not a wise bet as if you bingo 2 matches, you still got a loss becoz' the odds is too low.
For this case, you should bet 3x1 ...

actually it's not related to how much money you bet on but on the betting method.

For example,

if betting 3x4 = $10@ total $40. [assume the odds for all matches is 1.9]
- only 1 match bingo, => total loss [return $0]
- only 2 matches bingo, => little loss [return $36.1]
- 3 matches bingo , => win [return $36.1x3+$68.6=$176.9]

if betting 3x1 = $40@ total $40
- only 1 & 2 match bingo, =>total loss
- 3 matches bingo, => win [return $274.4]

Therefore, from my point of view, I would rather bet on 3x1 than 3x4 since if you don't have any confident in 1 match, I suggest you should bet on 2x1. if you choose to bet on 3x4, that means, this is your 'heart water' ... Just like your case, although you got 2 matches bingo, but you still lost a little bit ...
