Suppose you planed to buy a digital product, before you make the decision on which model to buy, you go to some web site to look for some customer reviews, then:

1)
If in a customer review, for each one there is a set of factor such as:
Average rating,
pictures,
title of the reviews,
number of the customer reviews,
user comments,
or others...
which piece of information would influrence you the most when picking one to purchase?

2) Why is this factor influence you the most?


3) If more than 20 reviews for the product, would you read all?
   if no, how would you pick to read?
   sort by good/bad/most useful or just the first top 5 to 10?
   
4) Does a famous or highly active reviewer draw you attention or make you trust more than other reviewer?

Coffee,phaton,okimg,dr,marshal,goalkeeper,booking,.........please help as well...

I don't spend much time to read many reviews before buy...

My experience... in recent days to buy a digital products..
1/ with some pleasant past experience on hand and preference on specific brand name and manufacturer
2/ target on the model and brand  made by that manufacturer and reference to newspaper / media's introduction in related to their products;
3/ knew the price offered and brief function of the model before went to the dealer shop
4/ at the shop, heard the introduction again from the salesman for detailed features/ funciton of the product &  review the appearence and compared picture of similiar  product with different  price.
5/ compare the targeted product's price with other shop nearby (usually  2 - 3 shops ) to decide which shop can offer the most valuable price;
6/ select the shop for that model on sale with the most valuable price and  make payment for the  purchase.

1) content of the review

2) first, it stands on the customer point of view.  Second, it's the actual feel of user that are already using the product, not just predict

3) I'll just read 'good' or 'bad' for ALL reviews, and choose a few samples (e.g. 3) for each of them.

I think users comment should be the most important factor which influence me to buy a product or not..because user is the one who would use the product most..usually those user comment i would see them all..however if the first 5 to 10 comments were useless...i would not try to see all comments. Also, i would like to do some research to think is that products suitable for me or not~

1. the user comments would draw my attention that influance me whether buy the product or not.
2. the content of user's comments coz it direct tell me it is good or bed or other factors we should look into it before making the decision.
3. if i have time, i will read all of these before.
4. No matter of how the famous reviewers is.  i just pay attention to the content of the comments.

user comment, product specification and almost all information would be equally weighted

buying customer electronic products, product features, comments, price, all are important

if more than 20 customer comments probably read about 10 and get a feeling.

famous people review of course important, but who is famous people le?  big magaine or movie star?

well, probably a general feeling on product is all I need, I dont trust those people anyway.

我買相機，係睇外國網站famous people comments，因為好壞照講。雖然香港都有類似網站，不過都係『圍內』自己友作料既，comments要幾多有幾多，邊隻機好賺就讚邊隻，可信情度低，所以comments數目多少冇關係。
當然有average rating就更加易於分別各牌子評估級。
若果有20個意見，我會睇晒，因為登得出，必定有獨立見解。
但係一件貨品，又點會有20個不同見解？件貨一定有問題。
